aqToday we hosted our Arty Party blogging event after school in the hall. A variety of activities were available for children and parents to participate in, including :
•African Drumming (thank you to Mr Bellingham for taking the time to do this!)
•Creating a dream catcher
•Making a photo frame and having your photo taken in the photo booth
•Spray painting with water guns and spray bottles
•Making a sock puppet
A slideshow of photographs was also displayed for the parents to view and well as video excerpts of the children performing in their talent shows.
The event was a huge success and was a great finale to our fantastic topic – Listen to your Art. Thank you to all families who attended.
We would love to hear your feedback about the event.

We are very excited about an upcoming visit from Greenwatch on Wednesday 17th October. This is to link in with our topic ‘People That Help Us’.
The time is coming close when we have to say goodbye to some children in Ant and Spider Group. We hope you have enjoyed your time in Foundation 1 as much as we have. We would love to know about your favourite memory, experience or time from Foundation 1, please tell us all about it….
We are lucky enough to have a Collared Dove nesting in our Foundation Unit outdoor canopy. What a clever Mummy keeping her chicks sheltered from the rain. We will keep you updated on the progress of the chicks. Have you seen any nesting birds in your garden? Tell us about them by leaving us a message.
Chick number 1 and 2!
reach for the clouds with your sunflower
The children in Foundation 1 have each taken 3 sunflower seeds home to plant. Let us know how your sunflowers are getting on and how big they are growing. The sky is the limit, how tall will yours grow?
